Several of our ocean freight partners are deploying energy-efficient vessels and offer carbon offset programs, allowing shippers to compensate for the emissions of their cargo by investing in renewable energy projects.

Partnering with ESG Journey

It is with great joy that we would like to share that MELLOHAWK Logistics is one of the sponsors of the ESG Journey @jornadaesg

In this project, director and executive producer Marcel Guariglia is traveling from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Alaska, raising awareness about global warming and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues.

The 240-day expedition aims to travel through 18 countries by car, documenting everything on the ESG platform and social media. The project seeks to find a balance between the 17 UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), connecting sustainable initiatives and impact-driven businesses, while also drawing companies’ attention to the UN’s 2030 Agenda.

MELLOHAWK Logistics will be responsible for shipping the car used in the expedition back to Brazil at the end of the journey. In Brazil, the route covered approximately 20,000 km in 70 days, visiting major capitals and local initiatives.

We are sponsoring this project because we believe in the importance of promoting sustainability and highlighting causes that support environmental preservation.
